Rakenduses syslogd töötades genereeritakse logifail asukohas '/ var/log/syslog'. Rakendus syslogd on väga kasulik Linuxi süsteemide tõrkeotsinguks. Logifaili näidis näeb välja nagu allpool.

Avage fail '/etc/hosts.deny'.

# vi /etc/hosts.deny

Lisage faili lõppu IP-aadress, mille soovite blokeerida.
